Vision Surveys was engaged by Queensland Rail and Aurizon to conduct comprehensive cadastral and engineering surveys to connect the critical rail link between North Goonyella and Newlands rail systems, ensuring legal compliance and facilitating efficient property resumption processes. 

What was done 

Vision Surveys provided comprehensive cadastral and engineering surveys for a critical rail link between North Goonyella and Newlands rail systems spanning 69 kilometres. This project interconnected the two rail systems, strategically positioned in the northern Bowen Basin coalfields. 

How this was accomplished 

Executing a multifaceted approach, Vision Surveys managed property resumption plans across 10 expansive cattle stations. The team also created the Standard format Survey plans, ensuring the required titling for the rail corridor.
