Land Resumption Surveys for Rail Corridor

The Northern Missing Link project was constructed by Leightons Coal Connect for QR National. Vision Surveys (Qld) was employed by Leightons Coal Connect to assist with the initial primary control surveys, ground truthing surveys and engineering surveys required for the railway line construction.

QR National subsequently engaged Vision Consulting (Qld) to perform the boundary resumption surveys for registration with the Department of Natural Resources and Mines for titling.

During this process company director Brian Forrester has developed a strong relationship with the DNRM Senior Surveyors and Solicitors in regard to Leasehold and Freehold requirements for land resumption surveys.

Galilee Basin to Abbot Point Railway Line

Due to our experience on the Northern Missing Link Project Vision Surveys (Qld) was contracted to Hancock Coal and Waratah Coal to produce accurate MGA/GDA94 coordinates of the adjoining cadastre for the proposed railway line boundaries. This project was completed using RTK and Static GNSS surveying techniques.
